Restoring Salvation

My Uncle Rich worked on this story off and on for 5 years. He would write during his lunch break at work and during the winter months. Uncle Rich completed this story and sent it off to have it cleaned up a bit the night before his last heart surgery. He made my Aunt Becky promise that if anything happened to him that she would continue with the book. So after he passed away, she started to look at Christian publishers. The first publisher that Becky sent the manuscript to, called and said they wanted it. That was last March, and here we are today with the book completed! The story is a fun and easy read, and has Rich's humor, wit and his witness. I hope you all get a chance to read and enjoy his story!

"Some miracles in life are obvious; others are more subtle. Are people willing to see the miracles God puts before them? Lew Porter was the last person who expected a miracle in his life. Having lost his mother at a young age, he soon became estranged from his father. The pain of this relationship led to twenty years of drifting, working as a mechanic in garages, always looking for the 'next big score.'

When Paula enters Lew's life, it appears to be the perfect match. Driven by the same desire for fast cash and an easy life, Lew and Paula are presented with a seemingly easy mark – a vulnerable widow, looking to rebuild her life.

The scheme progresses well until an unexpected obstacle threatens to expose their plans. Forced into unfamiliar territory, Lew is faced with a litany of new problems, perspectives, and choices that he does not feel prepared to make. As the expert mechanic becomes increasingly confused, the question becomes: is Lew Porter capable of Restoring Salvation?"
